I Worked on the Magazine Design

My main concept was Magazine Design, especially for Malaysia GIFT FAIR-2018. I used Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign to design and produce the magazine from cover to final spread — handling editorial typography, photo placement, and full page layout to create a visually compelling fashion publication that represents the brand identity.

04

Structured Layout

Each page is divided into sections with a consistent structure for product information, including images, product descriptions, specifications, and measurements. This ensures easy navigation and readability for the viewer.

05

Tools Used

To design and develop the magazine, industry-standard design tools were utilised –

Adobe Photoshop
For image editing and enhancement.
Adobe InDesign
For layout design and typesetting.
Adobe Illustrator
For vector graphics and illustrations.
06

Product-Centric Design

The magazine emphasises showcasing the products through large, high-quality images accompanied by clear and concise details like material composition, sizes, and color options. This design pattern is often used in product catalogs and retail brochures to highlight the features of each item for easy decision-making by the customer.

As Model

The Empiric Fashion Attires (BD) SDN BHD magazine effectively showcases its clothing by featuring diverse models wearing various styles, including half-sleeve and full-sleeve designs. This approach helps customers visualise the fit, style, and color options in real life, making their shopping experience more informed.

I also had the unique opportunity to model for the magazine, adding a personal and relatable touch to the brand's presentation. This reinforces the brand's commitment to diversity and real-world representation, making the clothing accessible to individuals of all backgrounds. By using multiple models, the magazine highlights the versatility of its attire, ensuring a broader appeal to potential customers.
